Every paper submitted to a USRS conference goes through the same steps. The rules for each step come from the USRS rules and regulations.
1. Plagiarism check
All research papers are checked with plagiarism detection software to verify their originality and similarity percentage. Papers that do not meet the criteria are sent back to the author for changes.
2. Peer review
USRS accepts each paper for the conference after a review by two internal or external USRS reviewers. Acceptance is based on originality, relevance, methodology, technical quality and contribution to the field.
3. Decision
The decision is sent to your registered email address, generally within one to two weeks of submission. If your paper is selected, confirm your registration before the last date of registration. USRS never publishes an unregistered paper.
4. Journal publication (optional)
After the conference, an extended paper (at least 20% extended) can be considered for an associated international journal. The second round of review takes at least 25 to 60 days, and the editorial board of the journal can reject a paper after this review.
Plagiarism after publication
If plagiarism or a fake identity is found after publication, the paper is removed until the verification is complete. Serious cases stay removed and the author can be blacklisted. Self-plagiarism is treated the same way.
