Author guidelines

How to prepare and send your paper to a USRS conference.

Prospective authors are invited to submit full papers including results, tables, figures and references. Papers (.doc or .pdf) are accepted through the online submission form.

Original work

All submitted papers must report original, previously unpublished research, experimental or theoretical, and must not be under consideration for publication elsewhere. Manuscripts must follow the style of the conference and are subject to review and editing.

Paper page limit

  • Regular papers: no more than 6 pages, including the abstract, figures, tables and references.
  • Extra pages: US$20 per extra page.

Format and submission

  • Use the sample paper (USRS double-column format).
  • Submit the paper as a .doc, .docx or .pdf file with the online submission form. The camera-ready paper is sent in Word format; if you cannot format it, USRS formats it for you at no extra charge.
  • Questions about the submission: email [email protected].

Presentation

Oral presentations are 15 minutes including questions; posters are up to 36 × 48 inches; online presentations are up to 10 minutes. Details: presentation instructions.

Do's

  • Send your original research paper.
  • Test the plagiarism yourself before you submit the paper.
  • Send the paper in .doc format, use the sample paper from the website, and read the rules and regulations carefully.
  • Note the last date of paper submission on the conference page and send your paper before it.
  • Note the last date of registration. If your paper is selected, confirm your registration before that date: registrations after it are not considered and no money is refunded.
  • Use only the official conference website and the official email address for the latest information.
  • Check your registered email and mobile number regularly. All conference notifications are sent by email and mobile only.
  • Ask the conference coordinator for the conference schedule mail only after the last date of registration.

Don'ts

  • Do not book tickets or hotels before you receive the conference schedule mail. The organiser does not cover losses from travel cancellation or rescheduling.
  • Do not arrive at the venue before or after the reporting time on the conference day.
  • Do not use adult or offensive pictures, or controversial maps or pictures, in your presentation or paper.
  • Do not treat the payment confirmation from the payment gateway as the final confirmation. Wait for the conference schedule mail from the organiser.
